Be Deaf to Negativity
Once upon a time there was a bunch of tiny frogs.... who arranged a running competition.
The goal was to reach the top of a very high tower.
A big crowd had gathered around the tower to see the race and cheer on the contestants....
The race began....
Honestly:
No one in crowd really believed that the tiny frogs would reach the top of the tower.
You heard statements such as:
"Oh, WAY too difficult!!"
"They will NEVER make it to the top."
or:
"Not a chance that they will succeed. The tower is too high!"
The tiny frogs began collapsing. One by one.
Except for those, who in a fresh tempo, were climbing higher and higher....
The crowd continued to yell, "It is too difficult!!! No one will make it!"
More tiny frogs got tired and gave up....
But ONE continued higher and higher and higher....
This one wouldn't give up!
At the end everyone else had given up climbing the tower. Except for the one tiny frog who, after a big effort, was the only one who reached the top!
THEN all of the other tiny frogs naturally wanted to know how this one frog managed to do it?
A contestant asked the tiny frog how he had found the strength to succeed and reach the goal?
It turned out....
That the winner was DEAF!!!!
The wisdom of this story is:
Never listen to other people's tendencies to be negative or pessimistic.... because they take your most wonderful dreams and wishes away from you -- the ones you have in your heart!
Always think of the power words have.
Because everything you hear and read will affect your actions!
Therefore:
ALWAYS be.... POSITIVE!
And above all:
Be DEAF when people tell YOU that you cannot fulfill your dreams!
Always think:
God and I can do this!
Most people walk in and out of your life......but FRIENDS leave footprints in your heart and I would like to share these thoughts with you....
MANY SMILES BEGIN BECAUSE OF ANOTHER SMILE...
To The World You Might Be One Person; But To One Person You Might Be the World.

The three old wise men

This is a very nice story to read and enjoy.
A woman came out of her house and saw 3 old men with
long white beards sitting in her front yard. She did
not recognize them. She said "I don't think I know
you, but you must be hungry. Please come in and have
something to eat."
"Is the man of the house home?", they asked.
"No", she replied. "He's out."
"Then we cannot come in", they replied.

In the evening when her husband came home, she told
him what had happened.
"Go tell them I am home and invite them in!"
The woman went out and invited the men in"
"We do not go into a House together," they
replied.
"Why is that?" she asked.
One of the old men explained: "His name is Wealth,"
he said pointing to one of his friends, and said
pointing to another one, "He is Success, and I am
Love." Then he added, "Now go in and discuss with
your husband which one of us you want in your home."

The woman went in and told her husband what was
said. Her husband was overjoyed. "How nice!!", he
said. "Since that is the case, let us invite Wealth.
Let him come and fill our home with wealth!"
His wife disagreed. "My dear, why don't we invite
Success?"
Their daughter-in-law was listening from the other
corner of the house. She jumped in with her own
suggestion: "Would it not be better to invite Love?
Our home will then be filled with love!"

"Let us heed our daughter-in-law's advice," said the
husband to his wife.
"Go out and invite Love to be our guest."
The woman went out and asked the 3 old men, "Which
one of you is Love? Please come in and be our
guest."
Love got up and started walking toward the house.
The other 2 also got up and followed him. Surprised,
the lady asked Wealth and Success: "I only invited
Love, Why are you coming in?"

The old men replied together: "If you had invited
Wealth or Success, the other two of us would've
stayed out, but since you invited Love, wherever He
goes, we go with him. Wherever there is Love, there
is also Wealth and Success!!!!!!"
MY WISH FOR YOU...

-Where there is pain, I wish you peace and mercy.
-Where there is self-doubting, I wish you a renewed
confidence in your ability to work through it.
-Where there is tiredness, or exhaustion, I wish you
understanding, patience, and renewed strength.
-Where there is fear, I wish you love, and courage.

Once upon a time there was a gal. One day, the doctors told her she had a hole in her heart. The only surgery would only be performed by this cardiologist who was far, far away. She knew that she didn't have the means to get there at the time but she never lost hope. She decided to call the surgeon and explain her situation. The doctor said yes he would perform the operation for free and she would be okey. She was glowing with joy and happiness as she knew she would have a life, one she had never had before. A life that she had dreamed of for a long time. The gal was at peace, she knew everything would be okey.Soon and soon everything she had never done due to the problem, she would finally do it. The time came for her to depart to the country only to find out that the doctor had too many cases of medical malpractice. The gal was confused whether the cases were real or its the world that we're living in. The court ordered the doctor to take the medical exam again in order to practice in that country. Unfortunately the doctor failed the exam. The gal was devastated and she knew that she was never going to be the same. The gal finally decided to live her life with the hole in her heart and take day by day until she could find the best doctor in the universe who could finally perform the operation.
Put yourself in this gals position, would you let the doctor perform the operation on you. Keep the following in mind:
1. He's being sued for Medical malpractice
2. Not all medical malpractice are genuine, some
people want to make money from the doctors.
BUT THE BIGGEST DILEMMA IS: He failed the medical exam.
So, would you take your chance knowing that you might die on the operating table??.

I found this quite interesting and inspiring. The author is unknown.

A group of alumni, highly established in their careers, got together to visit their old university lecturer. Conversation soon turned into complaints about stress in work and life. Offering his guests coffee, the lecturer went to the kitchen and returned with a large pot of coffee and an assortment of cups: porcelain, plastic, glass, some plain-looking and some expensive and exquisite, telling them to help themselves to hot coffee.

When all the students had a cup of coffee in hand, the lecturer said: "If you noticed, all the nice-looking, expensive cups were taken up, leaving behind the plain and cheap ones. While it is but normal for you to want only the best for yourselves, that is the source of your problems and stress. What all of you really wanted was coffee, not the cup, but you consciously went for the better cups and are eyeing each other's cups."

"Now, if Life is coffee, then the jobs, money and position in society are the cups. They are just tools to hold and contain Life, but the quality of Life doesn't change. Sometimes, by concentrating only on the cup, we fail to enjoy the coffee in it."

So please, don't let the cups drive you...enjoy the coffee
